In 2001 Artko brought together two well established picture manufacturers within a purpose-built factory and grew to become one of the leading wall art manufacturers in the UK.
Adding a second factory to our site in 2010, this encompasses the administration and design departments along with a self-contained printing and publishing studio using the most up to date high quality digital printing technology.
Using automated and computerised cutting and assembly technology we produce high quality, high volume pictures using special treatments to develop unique, on trend, product ranges. We source and commission exclusive artwork from our team of artists and publishers as well as licensing from brands and image libraries.
The design team brief our artists on the latest trends and home furnishing colours, develop our own exclusive mouldings direct with our suppliers and create unique, hand-finish techniques to add volume and uniqueness to our picture range.
Our full independent product range is stocked for immediate delivery and we are able to react instantaneously to new developments within the wall art sector.
Our sales and design teams work with a multitude of different companies within the home furnishing and craft industries to develop exclusive, bespoke product ranges to specific briefs. Current customers include; John Lewis, Fenwick, Royal Mail, DFS and Dunelm.
